Welcome to the Questar Gas
Feeder Line 19 Capacity Enhancement Project Website.
Between October 2008 and December 2011, Questar Gas will replace a section of its system in Davis and Weber counties known as Feeder Line 19. (Feeder lines are larger, steel pipelines that supply smaller main and individual service lines which connect to meters at homes and businesses.)
This work is necessary to keep pace with increased demand for natural gas due to customer growth. It will also enhance our ability to continue providing safe, reliable natural gas service by making our system easier to monitor and maintain.
The 18.5-mile section of pipe slated for replacement extends north from South Weber to Harrisville. The pipe crosses under I-15 near the Hill Air Force Base museum, runs north under 1900 West in Roy and ends under 1200 West in Harrisville. (See link to map at left.)
This project may involve some nighttime and weekend work and lane restrictions. Watch this site for the latest traffic information. To avoid congestion in construction zones, motorists are advised to use alternate routes and to allow plenty of travel time to get where they're going.
This website provides general information about the project as well as current information on construction activity and related impacts on local traffic.
